Holiday vacation

I hope everyone had a great holiday. We certainly did, at our home. Sadie’s first Christmas was a great success. We entertained for Christmas eve and didn’t get to bed till after 1am. Of course the dog was awake and with us, the entire time. She was extremely well behaved and like a proud parent, I loved hearing people say how well behaved she is and how good looking she is.
Anyway, her normal bed-time is around 9pm. So she was up late. Then having the kids get up (3 & 5) at 6 am, she was very tired, for Christmas day. The excitement of presents opening and new toys for everyone (kids and Sadie), kept her awake.
I am not working this week. I plan on spending a bit of time with the kids and the dog. I want to try out a few new dog parks, on Long Island. I’m also thinking about driving up to Montauk Point. It’s super cold, but a great time to enjoy the area, without all the tourists.
By the way, the stocking showed up within a few days of ordering it. Look at the picture above
